Terms of Service

Welcome to use Inksight (hereinafter referred to as “the App”). Before using the services provided by the App (especially image recognition and AI processing services), please read and fully understand this User Service Agreement (hereinafter referred to as “this Agreement”) carefully.

Special Notice: By starting to use the App, you are deemed to have fully read and agreed to all terms of this Agreement. If you do not agree to any part of this Agreement, please stop using the App immediately.

I. Service Content and Nature

  1. Tool Positioning: The App is a tool that provides image recognition and text processing services. Its core functions include image text extraction, format conversion, and intelligent optimization.
  2. Technical Implementation: The App integrates third-party large language model (LLM) APIs to achieve intelligent processing. You understand and agree that the App is only provided as a technical assistance tool and does not directly generate content itself.

II. Intellectual Property and Content Ownership

  1. Ownership of Data and Results: Unless otherwise required by law, you own the rights to the OCR text results generated through the App in terms of data output. We do not claim any ownership or intellectual property rights over your generated content.
  2. Copyright Compliance Responsibility: When you use the App to scan or process copyrighted content (such as books, publications, or copyrighted documents), you must ensure your actions comply with applicable laws and regulations regarding “fair use.” This feature is provided solely as a technical tool and does not imply any transfer of copyright due to recognition or processing.
  3. Infringement Handling: If the text content generated using the App infringes upon the legal rights of any third party (including but not limited to copyright, trade secrets, or reputation rights), you shall bear all resulting legal liabilities.

III. AI Service Disclaimer

  1. Accuracy Limitation: Due to inherent limitations of large model technology such as hallucinations or algorithmic constraints, recognition and conversion results may be inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading. You should manually verify the output results. The App does not guarantee absolute accuracy.
  2. Professional Fields Notice: AI-generated content does not constitute medical, legal, financial, or other professional advice. For such decisions, please consult relevant professionals.
  3. Third-Party Dependency: The stability of AI functions depends on third-party providers and network conditions. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service and are not responsible for losses caused by third-party service disruptions.

IV. User Code of Conduct

You agree to comply with applicable laws and regulations when using the App and shall not use it for the following activities:

  • Uploading or processing content that is illegal, violent, pornographic, insulting, or endangers national security;
  • Infringing upon the intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or trade secrets of others;
  • Performing reverse engineering, reverse compilation, or attempting to extract source code from the App.

V. Data Privacy Protection

We strictly follow the principles below to protect your privacy:

  • Data Flow: To provide functionality, your input content is transmitted to third-party models via encrypted channels for processing.
  • Privacy Isolation: The transmission process does not include any personal identifiers such as your account information or device ID.
  • Local Storage: Your recognition records and output results are stored only on your local device, and we do not maintain any cloud backups.

VI. Amendments and Termination of the Agreement

  1. We reserve the right to modify this Agreement based on changes in laws, regulations, or product upgrades and will publish updates within the App.
  2. If you continue to use the App after the Agreement has been modified, you are deemed to have accepted the revised terms.

VII. Governing Law

The formation, execution, interpretation, and dispute resolution of this Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of China. Any dispute arising from this Agreement shall first be resolved through friendly negotiation between the parties.
